Choosing a school

The summer before I started college I was still deciding between two different schools. (Santa Barbara City College and Ventura College) About a month or two before the first semester I decided that I would go to SBCC because of the beautiful campus and the difference in scenery. I went to the orientation at SBCC and quickly discovered that this school was not the right choice for me. Throughout the incredibly long orientation I kept on thinking about how I would miss my friends who had pretty much all decided to go to VC and though SBCC was very pretty, it just wasn't right for me. It seemed far too perfect and I felt very uncomfortable there. That very day I decided that Ventura College was definitely the right school for me and ever since the first day of school I felt like I belonged there and I have never regretted my choice.
